The Central Hockey League trading deadline came and went today with numerous big deals discussed but just three trades completed. The Tulsa Oilers were the most active CHL club at the deadline, making a pair of deals with Southeast Division clubs. Right winger Drew Otten is now a member of the Austin Ice Bats, with the Oilers receiving left winger Shawn Roed and future considerations from the Bats, while defenseman Todd Paul and left winger Korey Diehl were shipped to Corpus Christi, acquiring former CHL All-Star forward Mike Lukajic and defenseman Doug Watkins. Also on the move is Fort Worth rearguard Andrew Nahirniak, now with the Wichita Thunder in exchange for left winger Chris Bain and future considerations.
