The Central Hockey Leagues highly successful expansion club in Laredo, Texas, will be featured on this Sundays CBS Weekend News. Following up on an Associated Press article on the Bucks tremendous inaugural season, CBS sent a crew to Laredo on January 17th, and spent the day with Bucks management, players and fans. In the afternoon, they visited the City of Laredo prior to the game itself, and recorded additional footage with fans as well as game action from the Bucks 3-1 victory.
The Laredo Bucks have been a model franchise within the CHL since their inception, and we are very pleased to see the club receiving tremendous national exposure in their inaugural season, said CHL President Brad Treliving.
