The Memphis RiverKings ended a mini two game winless skid Tuesday night, winning 5-4 in overtime in Tulsa to also end the Oilers six game winning streak. All eight goals during regulation play came with the man advantage, and only Memphis left winger Ryan Campbell was successful in the shootout, winning the game in the fifth and final round.
Derek Landmesser, Travis Banga and Rick Kozak, with a pair, handled the rest of the Memphis scoring, while David Masse had two, David Beauregard and Spencer Carberry one each, with Carberrys third period equalizer extending his point streak to a CHL season high of 11 games.
CHL action resumes Wednesday with a single contest as the Oklahoma City Blazers make their first ever visit to the Broomfield Event Center to take on the Rocky Mountain Rage.
