The Rocky Mountain Rage were officially named hosts of the 2008 Central Hockey League All-Star Game Tuesday evening during the 2007 CHL All-Star Banquet, held at the Horseshoe Hotel & Casino in Bossier City, LA. No official date for the game was announced.
We are extremely pleased to name the Rocky Mountain Rage and Broomfield, Colorado as hosts of the 2008 Central Hockey League All-Star Game, said CHL President Brad Treliving. We are confident the Rage and the Broomfield community do an outstanding job in with our annual mid-season showcase event.
On behalf of the Rage and the city of Broomfield, were honored that the CHL selected our organization to host next seasons All-Star Game, said Broomfield Sports and Entertainment President Trey Medlock. We look forward to showing off the beautiful new Broomfield Event Center to the rest of the league and are excited for our fans to be able to enjoy the talent and skill of the best and the brightest players that this level of professional hockey has to offer.
The 2007 CHL All-Star Game will be played Wednesday evening at the CenturyTel Center, home of the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs.
