(Team Release) The Gorillas held a press conference today to announce the return of Player Assistant Chris Lipsett for the 2007-08 season. The Gorillas organization is excited to have one of the offensive anchors back in uniform. Lipsett is coming off his most productive season with an average of 1.2 points per game, the highest average on the team during the 2006-07 season. His point output did not stop there. Lipsett raised his production even higher in the playoffs with 12 points in 6 games. Lipsett is a seasoned veteran who leads by example and rises to any occasion.

Along with his production on the ice, Lipsett has had an equally impressive impact in the off-season working as a Player Assistant. Lipsett has demonstrated his value to the organization throughout the entire year and is well respected in the locker room as well as on the ice. Lipsett expressed his enthusiasm with the announcement, My family and I are excited about another great year in Amarillo. Im looking forward to getting back on the ice and building on last years successes with a great bunch of guys returning.
