Blazers and RiverKings Both Win in Fine Fashion
Both the Oklahoma City Blazers and the Mississippi RiverKings looked very impressive in winning their season finales on home ice gearing up for a Northern Conference Semifinals series that will begin on Wednesday night in Mississippi.
The RiverKings beat the Tulsa Oilers as five different players recorded goals for the ‘Kings. Dallas Costanzo and Stephen Margeson scored second period goals that gave them a 2-1 lead and they never looked back.
In the Ford Center, the Blazers beat the Wichita Thunder by a final score of 5-2 as five different skaters scored in their game as well. Bill Vandermeer scored a goal and had two assists leading the way for OKC.
