Winter Storm in Midwest Forces Several Schedule Changes
TEMPE, AZ (January 31, 2011) – The Central Hockey League (CHL) announced today that several games on the CHL schedule have been postponed and/or moved due to the winter storm set to hit the Midwest.
The first games affected are Wichita at Missouri and Quad City at Bloomington, both previously scheduled for Tuesday, February 1. Also postponed is the Bloomington at Dayton game scheduled for Wednesday, February 2. The Thunder will now visit the Mavs on Tuesday, March 22, the Mallards will visit the PrairieThunder on Monday, February 21 and the PrairieThunder at Gems game will now move to Tuesday, February 22.
Another game changing dates is the Fort Wayne at Bloomington game scheduled originally for February 21. It will now be played on Tuesday, March 22.
