Tulsa’s Chad Costello Named Sher-Wood Central Hockey League Player of the Month
TEMPE, AZ (February 3, 2011) –The Central Hockey League announced today that forward
Chad Costello of the Tulsa Oilers has been named the Sher-Wood Central Hockey League Player of the Month for January/2011. Costello will receive a Sher-Wood/CHL logoed watch courtesy of Sher-Wood and the Central Hockey League to recognize his accomplishment.

Costello recorded at least a point in all 11 games he played in January totaling 10 goals with 16 assists and a +10 plus/minus rating. In more than half of his team’s games, the Johnstown, Iowa native recorded multiple-point games and had two four-point games and one six-point game (2G, 4A - Jan. 14 in a 9-3 win over Arizona). Costello helped his team to an impressive 8-3-0 mark during January.
On the season, the 5-9, 170-pound forward is second in the CHL in scoring with 66 points (26-40=66) in 43 games played. His 26 goals are tied for fourth in the league.
