Arizona Sundogs Awarded 2012 CHL All-Star Game

Duane Lewis announced today that the Arizona Sundogs, along with the city of Prescott Valley, Arizona will host the 2012 Central Hockey League All-Star Game at Tim’s Toyota Center in January 2012. Lewis presented team co-owner

“On behalf of the entire League, we are excited to have the Arizona Sundogs host the 2012 CHL All-Star Game,” said Lewis. “The detailed presentation they made to the League Office outlined some exciting plans for the Game and the surrounding events. Next season will be the 6th season of Sundogs’ hockey in the Northern Arizona community, and we know ownership and the front office will do a great job as hosts to all of those involved in the Game.”
The format, logo and jerseys for the game, along with other detials, will be announced in the future.

Past teams have done a tremendous job hosting the All-Star Game and I’m certain we’re going to continue that tradition.”

About the Arizona Sundogs
The Arizona Sundogs are a minor-league professional hockey team based in Northern Arizona that plays in the 18-team Central Hockey League (CHL). Entering their sixth season of play in 2011-12, the team was first established in 2006 and plays its home games at the 4,810-seat Tim’s Toyota Center in Prescott Valley, Arizona. During the 2007-08 campaign, the Sundogs secured a Southwest Division regular season title and went on to win the Ray Miron Presidents’ Cup Championship, sweeping the defending CHL Champion Colorado Eagles in four straight games.
