Four CHL Officials Selected to Work USHL Top Prospects Game
GLENDALE, AZ (January 13, 2012) – The Central Hockey League (CHL) would like to congratulate referees Chris Pitoscia and Brett Sheva along with linesmen Ryan Daisy and Brian Oliver for being selected to work the 2012 United States Hockey League Top Prospects game on Tuesday, January 24 at the LC Walker Arena in Muskegon, Michigan.
All four officials are part-time officials in the CHL this season and all have worked games within the league.
“What a great accomplishment for these young men,” said Bryan Lewis, CHL Referee-in-Chief. “It reflects the hard work and dedication that Chris, Brett, Ryan and Brian have for their craft and to be rewarded with such an honor is something they can always be proud of. We are very pleased with our relationship with USA Hockey and the access to help in the development of fine, young officials.”
Oliver commented on behalf of the crew about the appointments saying, “We are individually honored to be selected. The USHL and ODP have provided each of us with the opportunity to work in the top junior league in the USA and has provided us with the base experience to move into professional hockey.”
