Enjoying the hottest goal-scoring streak of his professional hockey career, Brian Bicek hasn't spent much time thinking about the sudden good fortune.
A left wing for the Evansville IceMen, all Bicek needs to know is that the puck has been coming off his stick and finding the back of the net at the rate of a goal per game over the past month.
"It's definitely fun to be in that type of zone, but you have to keep working hard and doing the little things," said Bicek, who has scored 15 goals and added eight assists in 15 games entering tonight's Central Hockey League encounter with Quad City.

A fourth-year pro, Bicek knows from experience that scoring streaks can be fickle. For instance, during the 15 games before this run, he had just four goals on 45 shots — just nine fewer attempts than he's taken during his surge.
"I haven't been working any harder — I try to work hard every night," said Bicek, who leads the IceMen with 21 goals and is third in points with 36 behind Todd Robinson and Nicklas Lindberg, "Even when there was that three- or four-week period in November when the puck wasn't going in as much as I wanted, I was still getting chances.
