Rush's rebuilding effort taking an accelerated turn

The Rapid City Rush were already seeking a new look for their fifth Central Hockey League season. It’s not likely, though, that the path the fortunes of pro hockey have offered is exactly what Rapid City had in mind.
Following an injury-plagued season that ended the Rush’s loss to eventual President’s Cup champion Fort Wayne in the Turner Conference semifinals, the Rush lost four players who accounted for 104 Rapid goals last year to teams in Europe.
Shawn Limpright, Konrad Reeder and Jesse Schultz finished at the top of the stat sheet for Rapid City, and Collin Circelli was eighth in scoring. Limpright, Reeder and Circelli will be skating in France, while Schultz is headed for Italy.
